Maxxorganic was founded by myself, Troy Rauh and named after my son Maxx. After having undergone two heart transplant surgeries over a seventeen year period, I have found a lifestyle that has allowed me to maintain great health and fitness. During my journey as a two time heart transplant recipient I have learned a thing or two about nutrition; shop around the "outside" of the market, choose real food with no preservatives, pesticides, hormones or additives and get your greens on! 
   Having grown up in the 70's "TV dinner generation", living under the flight path of a major airport in Southern California and swimming in a sea of second hand smoke, it was no wonder I had an enlarged heart by the age of 30. I had my first heart transplant in 1990 and recovered immediately afterwords thanks to great nutrition and a healthy obsession with mountain biking. 
   After 16 years I was in need of another donor heart due to transplant coronary artery disease resulting from the immunosupressant medications I had been taking. After Successfully recovering from my second transplant I now have a desire to share my lifestyle with you.
   Beyond nutrition and lifestyle, I quickly realized that an organic lifestyle can also translate to our care for the environment through alternative energy. My intention is to educate and provide usefull facts and information pertaining to the development of the biofuel and alternative energy industries.
